Well, once upon a time I had a quick list of pet hates. Decided this time to go one step further, and to create and maintain my all time definitive hate list. Some of these are a little UK specific, some are NZ specific, and some are nice and generalised.
I'm gonna keep building on this list, and update it regularly! Theres so much out there to hate!

What can I say, this guy is annoying as hell. Both in his capacity as the host of "Who wants to be a Millionaire" and host of the Capital FM breakfast show. His stupid pauses at the worst possible times, his annoying condesending tone of voice, and the weird way that when he inhales and makes a sucking noise combine to make this man one of the most annoying people in UK media.

The substitute teacher of Radio 1. This guy gets his own loser timeslot (Early morning Breakfast! From too damn early until 7am!), and also gets to take over real hosts shows when they feel like a holiday. Constantly sounds like he's reading off a script, plus just a general moron.

For anyone whos ever been forced to pay an extortionate fare to get home, because there is really no other option available, then this needs no explanation.

Their annoying habit of overdubbing singers singing the name of their radio station over the top of songs, instead of normal lyrics is just the most stupid thing I've ever heard. The fact that they've been doing it for 2 years and probably still think its "cool" just adds to the hatred factor.

I've never been a big Oasis fan, but their new single is just taking the piss. Its basically any one of their older songs with an annoying guitar lick over the top of it. The lyrics are the same, fixated on drug and alcohol abuse, which I guess is a popular topic for song lyrics but is there any chance you guys could sing about something else for a change?

Mainly because they wont hear a word said against Oasis. How a band that sounds so mediocre and average can generate such passionately stupid fans is beyond me. Perhaps mediocrity is like misery, in that it loves company.

[]Recruitment Agencies[]
The scum of the IT industry. They do no work and take a % cut of your pay. The amount of incompetent and utterly useless agencies out there just makes the mind boggle. The amount of emails I've got wasting my time because some moron can't be bothered reading a CV properly - they do fulltext searches on 202930923 CV's and mail anyone with a match. Even if they're searching for "TCPIP" skills, and your CV contains "I UTTERLY UTTERLY HATE WORKING WITH TCPIP AND IT MAKES ME SEE ALL RED AND GET URGES TO SLAUGHTER PEOPLE WITH ANY SHARP OBJECT AVAILABLE!" then you will get an email because they never even read your CV! Yay!
