The Sony GDM-FW900 is not dead. Long live the Sony GDM-FW900. However, it won't run in the new apartment due to interference from the power lines. Yes, it was a new one on me too. So the Sony is currently sitting in my office at work, and gets more than it's fair share of WTF IS THAT style looks. In the meantime I needed a new monitor which had to be an LCD due to the power interference, and I've gone with the Dell™ 2405FPW 24" Wide UltraSharp LCD Monitor. It got a pretty good
review on Extremetech which combined with the price made it a no brainer decision. I clicked "BUY" online on Friday, and the thing was delivered to me Tuesday morning - that's not bad at all.
