I read the article, and then watched the video:
It can't handle long notes and rarely manages to reach a 4x multiplier. When "Cliffs of Dover" finishes in the video above, his score is pretty average (I'm not sure whether it's on hard or expert).
It just seem that the ratio of effort to results is somewhat outweighed here. As they say in Barrens chat, "LEARN TO PLAY n00b!"
